HDLC Learning Overview

Course Structure

The HDLC Course Curriculum is "competency" based which is designed to build skills and knowledge in chosen areas of study.

While the HDLC offers set Award and Short Courses specifically designed to address skills and knowledge in key program related employment, students also have the option of enrolling in individual Units of Competency to better address their own needs.

Study Timelines

Learning is an individual process, you cannot apply a blanket solution to it.   Students are encouraged to spend as long as they need during their study experience.   You are not limited by time because we understand that workloads, travel and ofcourse emergencies all impact upon your priorities.

Specific Pre-Requisites

A pre-requisite is an Award or Short Course, or indeed a Unit of Competency which must be undertaken in order to continue study in certain "other" areas.

If a particular Award or Short Course, or Unit of Competency has specific pre-requisite study which must have been completed prior to enrolment, this will be clearly illustrated in the "outline" of the course or unit.

HDLC Study Recognition

After successful completion of any HDLC Award Course, Short Course or Individual "Unit" Module, you will receive recognition of your achievements in the form of an electronic award.

The HDLC Training Team supports you throughout your study experience, providing advice where required as well as management of your training account.

The HDLC Technical Support Team is there to provide 24/7 support for technical difficulties, we pride ourselves on maintaining your online experience.

You can contact all HDLC team departments 24/7 via email, skype or through your electronic student account online as well as build relationships with other students via the HDLC Student Learning Forum.
