Any person working within remote locations, relief and development and or with safety responsibilities for other staff.

 

Summary

 

Vehicle related incident account for the most injuries and deaths of humanitarian relief and development staff.   This Unit looks at the characteristics of safe vehicle operations, vehicle management, selection., preparation and so on.  

 

In addition, the Unit details specific vehicle related incidents, the characteristics of those incidents as well as suggested strategies for response.
