Incident
Management Planning
Audience
Any person working within
remote locations, relief and development and or with safety responsibilities for
other staff.
Summary
While a great deal of time is spent on daily
safety and security management principals in the field, it is incident
management capacity which (when an incident does occur) is the make or break of
a programs continuity.
This Unit discusses Incident Management Planning
concepts, considerations and the application of broad methodology.
Themes within the unit complement the strategies
of other critical planning activities covered in the wider HDLC curriculum. In
particular, medical related incidents, management and support feature as key
skills and knowledge in any remote or semi-remote programming area.
