Audience

 

Any person working within remote locations, relief and development and or with safety responsibilities for other staff.

 

Summary

 

This Unit focuses upon the activities recommended and issues to be considered when deploying to a new programming location.  

 

The unit cross cuts between skills and knowledge for the individual deploying as well as the considerations for agencies before a new staff member arrives in country.

 

This is a highly useful unit, particularly with its alignment with Units such as Personal Safety and Security Awareness
