Audience
Any person working within
remote locations, relief and development and or with safety responsibilities for
other staff.
Summary
This is the second of two units dedicated to
Personal Safety and Security Awareness.
This Unit covers a range of information related to
specific sources of risk which can and are encountered by humanitarian staff
within both secure and insecure program environments.
Characteristics of each potential incident type
are covered as well as recommended prevention and response strategies.
